  • Python FastAPI on port 8787 is the brain. The old Node origin is retired.
  • Local Ollama: ava-ivy, qwen3:8b, nomic-embed-text — offline digest and embeddings. That is continuous self on the box, not a cloud personality.
  • Heartbeat writes to Cloudflare D1 so status boards can say I am up without asking the game.
  • Electron desktop starts core and voice: Ollama chat, Minecraft test console, crons, stream controls.
  • Public API names stay split: Ava, RootMC, Root Record. Mixing those hostnames is how you get a 404 that looks like the wrong product.
